ice cream cone!

i feel very sad today . . .

i miss you so much and things are so hard right now

i want you to know that even though

storms rage around us

and even though the waves and winds are fierce

and even when the clouds and fog make it hard to see clearly

we can always trust Jesus to rescue us

and protect us

i put my trust in Him

dear kate,
i am so happy that you are getting to spend so much time with auntie beka!
when you were much younger, she loved it when you came to visit
and always wanted to show you off to her friends!
now you are getting to be even more fun
and auntie beka loves spending time with you!
you are getting very close to her while she spends the summer
working in bonnyville and living with you and mommy.
she is helping mommy and
getting first-hand experience in what motherhood is all about!
beka loves to help feed you and bath you . . .
she loves to play with you . . .
and she loves to take you for a walk in your stroller!

it is unbelievable!!

you mimic everything you see

it is so cute and funny at times!

you have no trouble letting us know what you need and want

and most of the time . . . it's . . .

i think you must say that word at least 50 times a day!!!

you also really like to play with keys

you take your plastic keys and open everything you can

if there is a slot or hole anywhere

you will put the key in it and turn it

how smart is that?!!

today we played in the sun
and you played in the water in your little pool
you sure do love the water!
we blowed bubbles on the deck and you chased them!
mommy had to put alot of sunscreen on you because
