dear kate . . .

dear kate,
in just 10 days you will be getting on an airplane
with mommy
and coming here to visit grammy and poppa
and all of your family in Ottawa!
we are all so excited
and can't wait to spend some time with you
doing fun things and playing and
giving you lots of hugs and kisses
of course, we want to give mommy tons of
hugs and kisses too!
i miss you so much because i haven't seen you
in so long
and it seems so much longer this time
you have changed so much since the last time
you were here
you are starting to talk alot and you understand
everything now!
we are going to have so much fun while you are here!
we are going to go to the wave pool, and tobogganing,
and the children's museum,
and Winterlude - where there is lots of fun!
we're going to go to see animals too ...
at a big indoor farm in Ottawa!
oh yes ...
grammy is going to take you to cosmic adventures too!
you are going to love it there ...
it's a special kids place, like an huge indoor park!
what fun we are going to have!!!
grammy will read you stories and play with you!
i can't wait!!
